With five published books of his poetry, three of full-length  poems and two of three line 5-7-5 syllable poems similar to haiku, the last out last year 2 from Futurecycle Press, John Laue presently coordinates the monthly reading series of The Monterey Bay Poetry Consortium. Also a recognized photographer, Laue mounted two successful shows of his photos recently. Photos of his have been featured in literary journals and in local and international juried art competitions. He has created photo essays on many topics including civilization, growth, abandoned things, shadows, and reflections.
