Emmaline “Emmie” Bristow is a sixth generation Montanan raised in the valley of Helena, Montana. A large portion of Emmie’s work centers around place and memory and how the two affect her identity. She received her BA in English Literature and Creative Writing from the University of Montana in Missoula and her MFA in Poetry from the low-residency program at Drew University in Madison, New Jersey. She currently lives in Missoula, Montana and works in communications for her local government.
