Merrick Sloane is a neuro-Queer 90’s kid and nonbinary poet from Oklahoma. They received their creative writing MFA from UT, Knoxville, and serve as Managing Editor of The Wardrobe. Merrick’s poetry has appeared or is forthcoming in the citizen trans* {project}, FruitSlice, Puerto del Sol, among others, and was a winner of AWP’s 2025 Intro Journal Awards. Merrick has received support from The DreamYard Project's Rad(ical) Poetry Consortium and Poet's House. Merrick writes so that others may feel radically loved.
