"Self-Care Muse"
SELF-CARE MUSE is an intertwining of two feminist souls, fighting for their rights and feelings. The book is therapeutic for each of the authors and for most of women. It's like a scrapbook with echoes of childhood, when magazines with stickers were collected. These stickers are meant to be pasted on streets, homes, mirrors, maybe even on someone's face. The fight against Januszewstwo ( narrative masculine name in polish to desecibe idiotism and miserability) seems to be endless, but every effort matters. The struggle takes on different forms. Patriarchy can be subdued with love... towards ourselves, definitely. Hania’s poetry has a flavor that, when you read it, gives you a clear sense of having been there before. I have been friends with Hania for 6 years and greatly admire her sharp mind and courage. The decision to create this book together came naturally. The mutual inspiration of our feminist spirits is endless in our collaboration. We have started working on this project a couple of months ago: it will include selected poems by Hania and a set of sticker-illustrations by Katia.
