Maryn Lain has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Fairfield University in Connecticut and is currently a Marketing Director and Freelance Graphic Designer in Tahoe City, California. Digital photography, branding and painting continue to be a way to translate, share and engage with the ever-changing landscapes that surround her. Maryn’s photographs in Issue 6 reflect the environmental and socioeconomic “fire” that much of the West Coast experienced in the summer of 2021. Vistas marred by smoke, over-priced and evacuated.
